Although our trips run through the warmer summer months, we'll be going to diverse environments where the climate can be extremely changeable. You should bring lighter summer clothes including T-shirts, vests and shorts etc, as it can get pretty hot down here, but be sure to pack the required gear list below as you may well see some rain too!
Heavy cotton clothing and jeans are not suitable for our activities, we want you to keep warm and have a good time, even if the weather is miserable! Things are pretty laid back over here in NZ so don't worry about bringing you tux, or cocktail dresses for going out, it's a very casual affair.

Depending on your travel itinerary you may want to buy clothing and equipment in your home country, or here in New Zealand. Please be aware that if you are planning to buy clothing and equipment in New Zealand you will need to allow time to do so before the trip departs from Christchurch. Here are few sites that stock quality outdoor clothing, ideal for trips such as ours.
